I got fed up with the free server I was using to host the .RSS file, so I got a real web page! Please forward all of your Bookmarks to www.Yankidank.com. I have decided to combine both my Gamer's Radio blog and Yankidank Technology blog into the new site. I won't have a chance to produce a radio show until Friday afternoon 09/05/04. But I promise to get the ball rolling soon. I have spent a lot of time preparing the site, but it's still a bit empty. That's where you guys come in. Please contribute to the site! Join the site and contribute your thoughts, photos, whatever you can think of. Soon I will have a new .RSS link. Make sure that you will update it from the Yankidank.com page so that you will be able to get the upcomming episodes.
Be sure to check out the forums and gallery at Yankidank.com they can be found here:
http://www.yankidank.com/forum/
http://www.yankidank.com/gallery/
The Photo Gallery is a little glitchy still when it comes so submissions, but the forum is awaiting some posts!
Thanks to those who have emailed me with comments and suggestions, I really appreciate it. That might just be a problem with my cache seeing a file that shouldn't be there, but I have had a few other people confirm that the link is working. I have even tested out the XML link in iPodder, and it seems to be working fine. It creates a playlist labeled as Yankidank Technology, that might throw some of you off. I'll get a new episode up soon. I'm working on establishing a phone connection through Skype so that I can get some long distance friends to help co-host. If you have any questions, or want to put some comments on the air you can contact me through AIM at Yankidank, or on the phone through Skype using the same Screen Name. And as always, you can email me at Yankidank@Gmail.com. You can find a quick link to the AIM and email on the sidebar of the page. As always you can leave a comment on the page below any of my posts.

Episode 1 Show Notes

 * US Game Releases
PC:
-Star Wars Galaxies: Jump to Lightspeed
-NBA Live 2005
-Men of Valor
-RollerCoaster Tycoon 3
Xbox:
-Dead or Alive Ultimate
-OutRun 2
PS2:
-Outlaw Golf 2
-Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas
GBA:
-Classic NES Metroid, Classic NES Zelda II, Classic NES Dr. Mario, Classic NES Castlevania

* Halo 2 TV Commercial
-xboxmovies.teamxbox.com
-No Online Co-op in Halo 2

* More Movie DVDs With Xbox Content:
-Van Helsing
-Star Wars
-Hulk
____________________________________________

NOTES, About the Notes:
This episode was very short and boring, but I will make a much better episode for the next update. There is a temporary .mp3 file that the RSS feed is pointing to, to demonstrate that it will create a playlist in iTunes when using iPodder. The iPodder address that you will need to point to is http://www.geocities.com/filerogue2000/rss.php.xml.
I will work on episode notes and produce a show in the next couple days. As soon as I get a grip on RSS 2.0 and enclosures I will start posting some .MP3 broadcasts. I want to thank GAMERadio for giving me the idea to start my own site about games. This site will host my game radio, yankidank tech blogs will host computer based questions.
I plan on discussing the following on the radio show:
- Game Reviews (both current and classic)
- Game Previews
- Game Tips
- Game Industry News
- Game Developing News
- Xbox Modchips
- Xbox Software
- Playstation 2 Mods
- Console Case Mods
and I will throw in lots of random things here and there I am sure.
For those of you uncertain about what iPodder is, check out their website. You will also be able to get the .MP3 streams directly from this site at the top right of the page. I will work on getting a host for those files tonight, then produce a couple episodes this week. By the end of the week I am hoping that I will have the RSS figured out so that iPodder will integrate with it.
